Our instructors are highly professional and have done tandems in the past with people that have various degrees of physical and mental handicaps as well as amputations (contact the office to book in advance). What happens if the weather conditions are not suitable for skydiving? It is recommended that you should phone us before coming to the skydiving centre to check on the weather on the day. Should the weather conditions prevent us from jumping that day, you can re-book for a later date. All prior deposits will either be returned or carried over to a later date. Can I jump if I experience Vertigo? You will not experience vertigo on a tandem, as you do not have objects on the ground as a reference because of the altitude you are at. Do you get vertigo on an airline? Can I breathe in freefall? We are definitely not short of air. Yes, you can breathe totally normal At what speed do we fall at? During freefall we reach speeds of up to 200 km/h. After the parachute opens this speed is reduced to 20 km/h Where is the photographer during freefall? The photographer will exit the aircraft at the same time as the tandem pair. He will follow the tandem throughout the entire freefall. Thanks to his technical abilities, he will be able to “fly” around the tandem pair to get the best shots and footage. How does he do photos in freefall? The freefall photographers have a camera mounted on a helmet. This helmet has a sight which enables the photographer to point the camera in the right place and he shoots the photos with a remote control. What format does the video come in? The video is recorded with a digital camera (mini-DV), however the client receives a copy in DVD. How long do I have to wait after my jump before I receive my photos-video? After the landing, the will do a short edited version of the jump and you will receive it within 30 minutes. If you opted for photos only, you will receive the spool immediately after the jump.
